Provide expert guidance on DoD procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, solicitations, and procurement documents in accordance with federal acquisition standards.
Provide guidance to program managers and leadership on contract requirements, obligations, risks, and compliance considerations.
Manage contract administration activities throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract review, modifications, compliance monitoring, and closeout activities.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to Federal procurement, with a strong focus on Defense.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and technical departments, to facilitate procurement activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of procurement actions for audit and reporting purposes.
Stay current on changes in defense procurement regulations and industry best practices.
Review, negotiate, and administer prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and related contractual documents.
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, contract terms and conditions, and company policies.
Contribute to proposal and request for information writing activities.
Collaborate with team members to find, track, and respond to business opportunity notices.
Support proposal reviews and contract negotiations with government customers and industry partners.
Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Manage contract modifications, funding actions, option exercises, and contract closeouts.
Maintain accurate contract records and documentation to support audits and reporting requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CFCM or CPCM and/or previously held unlimited contracting officer’s warrant are preferred.
5+ years of experience in federal contract management, government contracting, contract administration, or acquisition.
Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other relevant regulations.
Proven experience reviewing, negotiating, administering, and managing federal contracts and related agreements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly desirable.
Experience supporting DoD, civilian federal, or federal contractor environments.
Experience with contract types including FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ, and BPA vehicles.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and risk mitigation.
