Role Overview
- Perform accounting operations for revenue and accounts receivable
- Handle accounts payable processes
- Perform and review monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
- Drive improvements in financial close process
- Be the primary accounting lead with external CPA firms
- Review monthly accounting activity by Mexico accounting team
- Build and maintain Excel workbooks for reconciliations
- Manage bi-weekly payroll inputs
- Manage corporate credit card accounts
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience
- 3+ years of experience working in QuickBooks
- Solid experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of accrual and cash-basis accounting
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred
- An accounting degree is a must, CPA is a plus
