Understand and comply with all OSHA, safety, and PPE requirements.
Assist the maintenance team during major fault issues and help determine repetitive downtime causes.
Be part of engineering change teams and implementation.
Assisting with the generation of Process Flow Charts, Set-up Sheets, Work Instructions & Line Layouts.
Prepare, record, and document line speed demonstration events for the customer.
Assist in applying ergonomic and safety metrics and tools in the development and implementation of tools and processes for new model implementation.
Support upcoming launch requirements with line/press/equipment capacity studies.
Be current in the latest technology and trends concerning stamping and automation operations.
Support the Quality group in the evaluation and improvement of product dimensional reports.
Requirements
At least a 2-year Associate's Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or Technology and/or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of job-related experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment/industry or 4 yrs min in a non-automotive manufacturing environment/industry.
Can demonstrate work experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
AutoCAD experience.
Basic understanding of Ergonomics and Safety in work environments, both in processes and equipment.
Working knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, Capacity Studies, Time & Motion concepts.
Working knowledge of electronics/robotics/automation, such as sensors, device interfaces, and controls.
