Role Overview
- Processing and reconciling invoices and expense reports
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and balance sheet checks
- Maintaining accurate records in our accounting system
- Supporting the team with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles: debits, credits, reconciliations
- Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets
- Fluent in English, our working language at Kantox
- Available for the full internship period with university sign-off confirmed
- Prior internship or part-time experience in a finance or accounting function (Nice to have)
- Exposure to accounting software such as SAP, Xero, or NetSuite (Nice to have)
- Spanish speaker, helpful for local vendor communication (Nice to have)
- Interest in fintech, FX, or financial markets (Nice to have)
