About this role
Role Overview
You will strategically evolve our contact center and AI solution portfolio and define a clear roadmap.
You identify new market opportunities — for example through the AWS Marketplace, managed-service offerings, or new partnerships.
You monitor market trends and competitors and derive growth strategies.
You lead initial conversations with prospective customers, uncover their needs, and propose the right solution.
Together with our consultants you create compelling proposals, presentations, and proofs of concept.
You build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for further development (upselling).
You are the primary point of contact for AWS in the Contact Center domain and actively manage the partner relationship.
You ensure we meet relevant certification and program requirements.
You plan and monitor the financial metrics of your solution area (revenue, costs, utilization).
You develop pricing models for Marketplace and managed-service offerings.
You work closely with Finance and Administration to ensure accurate project accounting.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in business development, presales, consulting, or product management — ideally in an IT or cloud environment
Basic knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies
Experience working with customers and partners at decision-maker/executive level
Strategic thinker with a strong sense for commercial implications
Strong communication skills in German and English — you can explain technical topics clearly
Self-driven and eager to proactively push initiatives forward
Background in conversational AI, contact centers, NLP, or related fields is a plus but not required
Experience with Amazon Connect or similar contact center platforms
AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect – Associate) or Scrum Product Owner
Familiarity with AWS partner programs and the AWS Marketplace
Willingness to travel (~20% for customer meetings, events, and trade shows)
