Manage a commercial team to create a strategy which develops short and long-term opportunities to improve total cost of ownership while meeting customer requirements on the AP1000 and APx projects.
Grow a commercial management team focused on material aggregation for large, fabricated structures including Modules, Shield Building and Containment Vessel and leading the sourcing efforts for internal shop procurements of raw materials and services.
Report to the Director of Commercial Management for AP1000 and can be located anywhere within the United States as this position is remote with travel opportunities.
Recruit, building, training and managing a team to create an overall AP1000 and APx commercial strategy to meet organizational goals by improving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Ensure the execution strategy through preferred supplier list (PSL), “right-sizing” non-preferred suppliers, and rewarding preferred partners with business awards tied to Long-term Agreements (LTA).
Requirements
BA/BS degree required (Preferably MBA or MS in any field of engineering)
Minimum 7 years of procurement experience (preferably within industries with complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects, with a focus on procurement)
Minimum 5 years of experience in negotiations including RFI, RFP, RFQ and contract development.
Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience in procurement (Preferably 3 years of category management supervision)
