Lead the design, development, and integration of all subsea elements across a program lifecycle.
Own technical performance and delivery of subsea systems, ensuring alignment with program requirements and milestones.
Serve as the primary authority for subsea architecture, interfaces, and system integration.
Lead design reviews, trade studies, risk development and mitigation, and technical decision-making processes for the subsea systems.
Oversee multiple subcontractors supporting the subsea components of the program, ensuing interoperability between systems.
Support the planning and executing of subsea portions of offshore testing campaigns, including deployment, recovery, and in-water operations.
Integrate across the program with other leads, the Program Manager, and customer to ensure program success across all systems.
Lead and mentor junior employees, empowering them through assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring accountability in a productive and high-performance environment.
Travel when needed (approximately 0-25% time) to support customer needs and attend team meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar technical discipline.
Strong technical focus, ability to support team leadership, and establish strong, collaborative working relationships with government customers, technical staff, senior managers, and peers.
Strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Contribute to the successful capture of competitive US DoD contracts.
