Prepare studies, risk analyses, technical opinions, inspection reports, mitigation measures, and methodologies for carrying out work on structures
Carry out or supervise on-site inspections, including developing inspection protocols, coordinating subcontractors, performing inspections, and analyzing results
Manage, supervise, and contribute to the development of recommendations for multidisciplinary industrial and mining projects
Participate in various projects and collaborate with the team to analyze failure mechanisms, perform structural strength calculations, and use different monitoring and analysis technologies (aerial and underwater drones, thermography, photogrammetry, LiDAR, fiber optic monitoring, etc.)
Validate and develop solutions tailored to client needs, then present them
Ensure quality control of engineering work and project delivery, while providing required technical support during on-site work
Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety rules at Norda Stelo and at clients' sites
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil (structural), mechanical, or materials engineering
Minimum of 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience
Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
Strong theoretical and technical knowledge of structural engineering
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Available for occasional travel throughout Quebec
Demonstrate rigor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities and unexpected situations effectively
Fluent in French, both spoken and written
Proficiency in English is an asset
