Overseeing and actively monitoring the safety and security environment and movement of staff in Haiti.
Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with all areas.
Ensuring that Security Protocols are regularly reviewed, updated, and followed by both staff and visitors.
Promoting a culture of security between staff.
Monitoring and analysing the security context in Haiti.
Facilitating the sending of alerts and the decision-making process.
Participating in security management activities, overseeing movement planning and tracking.
Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth and secure operation of the organization.
Requirements
Working experience in safety and security advisory and/or logistics role in a complex political-humanitarian crisis.
Languages: French is required. Haitian Creole and English (preferred). Spanish is a plus.
Strong knowledge and understanding of security management principles and movement planning.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems for logistics management and security monitoring.
Ability to get along with a diverse group of people, and provide good customer service while managing multiple priorities.
Knowledge, ability, and willingness to learn Plan International management and program tools and frameworks adhere to Plan International’s policies and guidelines.
