Senior Medicaid Program and Policy Consultant

Role Overview

• Use your Medicaid policy expertise to advance client policy initiatives by advising clients, conducting research and policy analysis, and producing written policy content
• Drive your development through an annual process that supports your growth goal in partnership with your supervisor
• Participate in new business development through activities such as research, supporting proposal content, or developing marketing materials

Requirements

• Seven or more years working for a state Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives
• Direct experience working with most Medicaid authorities such as waivers and the state plan
• Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in in Public Policy, Health Management, Public Health, or a similar field or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in relationship building and teamwork
