About this role

Step in as the fractional CFO/Controller for a dedicated roster of up to 30 clients (gross revenues mostly under $10MM).
Analyze financials to spot trends and risks.
Fix messy data in collaboration with bookkeepers.
Deliver hard truths to the business owner with a mix of radical candor and humor.

A strong financial/accounting background with a relevant business degree (emphasis in accounting/finance strongly preferred).
Hands-on experience advising under-capitalized small business owners who aren't financially literate.
Must be able to explain complex FP&A data in plain English.
A massive bias for growth (you know you can’t cost-cut an entrepreneur to prosperity).
High emotional intelligence.
Confidence to hold clients accountable to their own goals.
