About this role
Role Overview
Ensure the updating and monitoring of donor contract information (database, disbursements, document archiving)
Support the organization's compliance with donor requirements, particularly regarding communication, visibility and administrative documentation
Participate in the preparation and review of funding applications
Respond to internal requests and contribute to knowledge capture and the development of the unit's tools
Coordinate the network of headquarters and field contacts and provide support to operational teams in managing donor contracts
Contribute to training and informing HQ and field teams on rules and procedures related to donors
Assist in developing and disseminating the unit's communication and reference tools (briefings, memos, newsletters, donor factsheets)
Support monitoring of funding opportunities and fundraising with public donors
Help disseminate information and tools enabling operational teams to respond to calls for proposals
Ensure creation and updating of donor contract data in SAP
Participate in testing and improvement phases of the donor contract management module in collaboration with project teams
Requirements
Master's degree, ideally specialized in humanitarian action, international cooperation or project management
Some prior experience in an NGO, as a grants officer in the field or within a donor-relations unit at headquarters
Good knowledge of major institutional donors in the humanitarian sector (ECHO, GFFO, AFD, CDCS, OCHA, etc.)
Ability to adapt to a variety of stakeholders and to the needs of operational teams, both at HQ and in the field
Demonstrated rigor, organization and a strong sense of priorities
Team player with a strong service orientation and collaborative mindset
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel, and collaborative/data management tools (Access, SharePoint, etc.)
Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is required
