About this role
Role Overview
Proactively identify and engage potential clients across target sectors (e.g. education, corporate, and payments).
Generate and qualify outbound leads through calls, email outreach, and social selling.
Support pipeline development through consistent prospecting activity.
Assist in managing the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach to deal closure.
Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and position TransferMate’s solutions effectively.
Support demonstrations, proposals, and commercial negotiations under guidance from senior team members.
Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients and key stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
Develop a strong understanding of TransferMate’s products, value proposition, and competitive positioning in the fintech/payments market.
Stay informed on industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor activity.
Work towards defined KPIs including activity levels, pipeline generation, and revenue contribution.
Demonstrate continuous improvement through coaching, feedback, and training.
Requirements
Recent graduate (or up to 1–2 years’ experience) in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated interest in sales, fintech, or commercial roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
High levels of motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
Commercial curiosity and the ability to quickly grasp technical/payment solutions.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Previous internship or experience in sales, customer-facing, or commercial roles (desirable).
Exposure to CRM systems or sales tools (desirable).
Interest in international business and financial services (desirable).
