About this role
Role Overview
Support the Manager, People & Culture for employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and workplace concerns
Assist in resolving employee relations issues with objectivity, empathy, and confidentiality
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including background checks, equipment coordination, orientation, and data entry
Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding workflow
Support managers and employees with continuous feedback program ensuring performance feedback is regularly discussed and captured
Collaborate on initiatives that drive employee morale, diversity, equity, inclusion, and a positive, safe workplace culture
Primary responsibility to oversee daily benefits administration (enrollment, changes, and open enrollment support)
Primary responsibility for timecard review and management including accurate tracking for leaves, hours and compensation adjustments
Support maintenance and optimization of the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and tracking metrics are accurate
Primary responsibility for all recruiting including job posting, screening applications, scheduling interviews and job offers
Manage pre-employment screening processes
Ensure the organization remains in strict compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA)
Maintain accurate, secure, and up-to-date digital employee files
Maintain NAID & R2 compliance documentation
Other duties as requested
Requirements
3+ years of experience in human resources with increasing responsibility
PHR and/or SHRM-CP highly preferred
Solid understanding of multi state HR compliance, laws and regulations
Exceptional organization, prioritization, and project coordination abilities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to take constructive feedback and collaborate across departments
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet compliance deadlines, and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment
