Technical Documentation Writer

Role Overview

• Develop, edit, and manage technical documents, from engineering manuals to regulatory reports.
• Create and maintain a structured repository of documentation for internal and external use.
• Work alongside aerospace engineers, flight test teams, and compliance specialists to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Translate technical jargon into user-friendly content while maintaining precision and compliance.
• Implement documentation best practices, templates, and frameworks to streamline communication across teams.

Requirements

• Experience in technical writing, preferably in aerospace, UAVs, or engineering.
• Ability to grasp highly technical concepts and translate them into structured, easy-to-understand documentation.
• Strong proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, LaTeX, DITA, or similar).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents simultaneously.
• Fluency in English.
• Nice-to-Have: Background in aerospace engineering.
• Nice-to-Have: Experience working with regulatory and compliance documentation (ITAR, EASA, SORA, etc.).
• Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML for structured documentation.
