Role Overview
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and application features (Java, Spring Boot)
- Lead code quality through peer reviews, best practices enforcement, and documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve production/pre-production issues with root cause analysis
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers on technical skills and best practices
- Serve as technical point of contact for cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technology evaluation
- Support deployment, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise application development
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
