Responsible for maintaining an overall administrative leadership role while building, directing, managing, and ensuring a high-quality successful community engagement operation.
Work with the CSE leadership to develop, implement, and coordinate community engagement activities for the Translational Research Institute.
Facilitate lay, practice, and research partnerships and capacity building for community engagement and support communications and dissemination of information to lay community members and others.
Assist researchers with developing and implementing research results dissemination plans.
Assist research teams with developing and implementing study participant recruitment and retention strategies.
Participate in national community engagement networking opportunities.
Complete all administrative duties (schedule, secure virtual links, book venues, order food, handle travel, produce written materials, take notes, meeting follow up activities, manage email list serves, etc.) for in-person and virtual community engaged focused meetings.
Coordinate community activities for disseminating research findings to lay and stakeholder communities.
Serve as the primary point of contact to link interested community groups with academic or provider groups for the purpose of research.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Program Coordination or Community Engagement OR Master’s degree with 3 years of Program Coordination or Community Engagement OR High School Diploma with 9 years of experience in Program Coordination or Community Engagement
