Role Overview
- Own the data platform end-to-end: ingestion, warehouse, transformation tooling, BI, etc.
- Build a governed layer for AI-assisted analytics with audited metrics
- Implement AI for pipeline management and anomaly detection
- Collaborate with product engineering on event data and analytics products
Requirements
- Strong opinions about AI integration in data platforms
- Proficient in dbt, SQL, and the modern data stack
- Experience with streaming and batch processing
- Knowledge of AWS, IaC, and CI/CD practices
- Ability to work independently as a data engineer
- Experience with Kafka, Redshift, dbt Core, GitHub Actions, and Metabase
