PHP Symfony Developer

Role Overview

• Design and develop high-performance web applications in PHP (Symfony)
• Contribute to architectural choices and technical decisions
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and support their skills development
• Ensure code quality (unit tests, code reviews, best practices)
• Optimize performance and ensure application security
• Proactively propose best practices and technical improvements
• Collaborate with project teams (PO, UX, DevOps) within an Agile framework

Requirements

• University degree or engineering school diploma
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong expertise in PHP / Symfony
• Ability to take a step back and assess technical challenges
• Technical leadership and a mentoring mindset
• Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility
• Technical skills: PHP 7/8; Symfony (4 to 6); REST APIs; Doctrine; MySQL / PostgreSQL; Git; testing (PHPUnit); CI/CD; Docker (preferred); HTML/CSS; JavaScript (React or Vue.js is a plus); Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
