New features, well-maintained legacy, clean solutions in real customer projects — not throwaway code.
Truly understand requirements. You analyze what a customer needs — including what they haven't said yet — and develop tailored solutions.
Drive products end-to-end independently. You have the drive to see a project through to completion on your own — while being a team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
Share knowledge. In reviews, pair programming, and small coaching sessions — because a team is only as strong as what its members learn from each other.
Keep an eye on the future. You follow how technology evolves — including how AI changes work and business models — and bring fresh ideas to the team where they create real value.
Requirements
At least 5 years of coding experience.
Solid skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Dart, Java, or similar — ideally across different projects and stacks.
Clean Code and unit testing are a given for you, not an annoying extra.
Truly independent working style. This matters to us more than anything else: you don't wait for instructions, you recognize what's needed and get it done.
Open communication. Direct, honest, empathetic. You say what is necessary and listen before speaking — with colleagues and customers alike.
A sense for the value behind the code. You think about how a solution will be received and convincing for the customer. You don't need to be a sales expert — but you understand that good software must also delight users.
Eagerness to learn. We have a varied tech mix. You don't have to know everything — you must be willing to learn.
Fluent German. Mandatory — due to close coordination with our customers.
