Role Overview
- Prepare plant budgets and forecasts in relation to cost of manufacture
- Coordinate with operations team members on headcount requirements, overhead costs, and quality testing costs
- Support monthly financial operations close and reporting cycle
- Report on monthly site operations KPI's.
- Measure performance against targets and provide commentary on variances
- Support product costing and set standard costs
- Ensure key stakeholders understand drivers of costs
- Support inventory management and control functions
- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues
- Monitor compliance for procedures and internal controls
- Support cost savings initiatives
- Responsible for capital expenditure project accounting including ROI analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years of related experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
