Role Overview
- Join the development team, taking ownership of planned work items for each Sprint.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, configuration management, testing and deployment.
- Develop solutions with a focus on quality, performance, scalability and maintainability.
- Manage your own deliveries, promptly communicating risks, impediments or potential delays to the team.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams following agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology fields — or a bachelor’s degree in any field with a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.
- Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher).
- CSD – Certified Scrum Developer.
- PSD – Professional Scrum Developer.
- Experience in developing financial systems.
- Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8+), Spring and Quarkus.
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration and DevOps practices.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban and XP).
- Knowledge of automated testing (JUnit).
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of messaging systems and system integration.
- Experience with application servers such as JBoss, WebSphere or Liberty.
- Experience modernizing and refactoring legacy applications.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SonarQube and Maven.
