Plan, execute and monitor testing activities, ensuring the quality of deliveries and contributing to the continuous improvement of systems.
Create and keep up-to-date test strategies, plans, test cases, scripts and other testing artifacts.
Track the development of requests from conception, supporting the implementation of quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Plan and execute functional and non-functional tests, including integration, regression, acceptance, performance and security testing.
Identify, log and track defects, evaluating the results of each test cycle.
Manage test data, staging/homologation environments and resources required for test execution.
Build and maintain mocks, stubs, simulators and other test support components.
Ensure traceability between requirements, scenarios, test cases and delivered items.
Monitor test coverage and propose continuous improvements to quality processes.
Support Product Owners, managers and business stakeholders in defining acceptance criteria and approving requests.
Participate in test automation initiatives, ATDD, BDD and Specification by Example.
Evaluate non-functional requirements related to application performance and security, following best practices and references such as OWASP.
Contribute to the stability of environments and to the quality of deliveries produced by development teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, IT, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology fields; OR a bachelor's degree in any field with a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.
Required certification: Hold at least one of the following certifications, or an equivalent certification:
ATC – Certified Test Analyst (IBQTS
Instituto Brasileiro de Qualidade em Testes de Software).
Latin American Association of Software Testing) or equivalent.
CTFL – Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB).
CTFL-AT – Certified Tester Foundation Level
Agile Tester (BSTQB or ISTQB Agile Tester).
