Tic Toc Games is dedicated to creating engaging and captivating games for players of all levels. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of game development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the full lifecycle of projects from planning through release, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone tracking
- Defines scopes, timelines, and deliverables aligned with game development objectives across art, engineering, design, and QA
- Leads Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews — ensuring teams stay unblocked and velocity is maintained
- Owns and maintains Jira project boards, including ticket creation and prioritization, dependency tracking, and burndown reporting
- Coordinates collaboration between technical and creative teams, with a working understanding of content pipelines including concept art, 3D modeling, tech art integration, UI, VFX, and animation
- Works closely with QA to ensure test plans are executed and feedback is incorporated into the development process
- Identifies risks early, escalates blockers, allocates resources, and keeps project documentation and stakeholder reporting current
- Optimizes workflows, supports process improvements, and drives consistent, predictable delivery
- Stays current with industry trends, project management methodologies, and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable and passionate about games
- Minimum 3 years as a Project Manager, Game Producer, or Associate Producer in internal game development, with multiple shipped titles
- Hands-on experience with Jira — building boards, writing tickets, tracking velocity, and producing sprint reports; Confluence experience a plus
- Certified or practiced Scrum Master with the ability to run Agile ceremonies, coach teams, and adapt process to team needs
- Solid understanding of game content pipelines and how art, engineering, design, and TA handoffs work across a production
- Proficient with Google Suite
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills across all development disciplines: programming, art, design, and sound
- Demonstrated ability to guide and unblock teams under deadline pressure
- Able to coach and mentor employees at all levels of an organization
- Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools and openness to integrating them into production workflows
- Experience working with outsource studios or freelance pools alongside an internal team
- PMP certification or equivalent
