Lucy is a company that makes tobacco-free and smoke-free nicotine products, and they are seeking a Manager for Retail Marketing and Analytics. The role involves owning retail marketing initiatives, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with various teams to drive marketing success.
Responsibilities:
- Be a data- and analytics-centered strategic thinker, who also can shape and drive marketing initiatives
- Own retail performance analytics across products, retailers, and geographies: analyzing data, identifying key drivers, and translating insights into clear business recommendations including reporting and dashboards
- Design and evaluate tests and initiatives by measuring impact and determining what should be scaled or stopped
- Partner with sales, account management, operations, and e-commerce to support decision making and ensure alignment
- Get into the details—store-level performance and real-world execution—not just strategy
- You’ve built a clear, structured view of performance across retailers and can confidently say what’s working and what isn’t
- You’ve launched and iterated on multiple tests and scaled at least one meaningful win
- You’ve taken ownership of a key retail marketing initiative(s) and are running it independently
- You’re a trusted partner to sales and leadership, bringing both data and practical recommendations
- You’re comfortable operating in the details while still thinking about how to drive broader growth
- You seek feedback and have absorbed it to visibly improve how you work
- You’ve started taking on responsibilities above your level - the key to developing quickly
Requirements:
- 2-4 years in professional services (consulting, banking, etc.)
- Data- and analytics-centered strategic thinker
- Ability to shape and drive marketing initiatives
- Experience in analyzing data and identifying key drivers
- Ability to translate insights into clear business recommendations including reporting and dashboards
- Experience in designing and evaluating tests and initiatives by measuring impact
- Ability to partner with sales, account management, operations, and e-commerce
- Detail-oriented with a focus on store-level performance and real-world execution
- Developed intuition around consumer behavior
- Exposure to consumer businesses in consulting or other professional services roles
- Experience working retail earlier in life
- Strong sense for what motivates people
