About this role
Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are seeking a SAP Systems Manager who will oversee and optimize the digital backbone of a manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless integration and performance of business-critical systems such as SAP and MES.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing teams to align system requirements with manufacturing process
- Collaborate with technology partners by testing software updates and modifications, testing software integrations and supporting software deployments
- Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime
- Monitor system integrations, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize impact to productivity, cost, or quality
- Provide technical support to users on MES and SAP applications
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve complex issues when necessary
- Document processes, configurations, and system changes to ensure no disruption to production systems
- Analyze system performance metrics to propose improvements or upgrades
- Lead the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP modules (e.g., PP, MM, WM, QM) to support manufacturing operations
- Ensure accurate data flow between SAP and other systems (MES, LIMS, etc.)
