About this role
Procom is seeking an AML Business Analyst I for a financial services client. The role involves reviewing watchlist alerts and determining whether potential matches should be disproved or escalated, focusing on efficiently processing a high volume of cases.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze watchlist alerts, primarily PEPR alerts
- Disprove or escalate potential matches based on a scoring matrix
- Process a minimum of 250 cases per shift, focusing on key identifiers like location, age, and date of birth
- Communicate primarily through Teams chats and weekly huddles
- Manage backlog pressure and maintain accuracy in high-volume tasks
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience within a Business Analyst role (internship or co-op considered as experience)
- Basic computer skills - Microsoft Windows, etc
- Must have completed a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Careful attention to detail
- Adaptability and flexibility
- MS Office knowledge
- AML knowledge
- Banking, Financial, or Customer Service experience
