Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to support enterprise-level business intelligence, reporting, automation, and application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing scalable solutions, optimizing performance, and integrating data from multiple sources.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Power Platform administration and development.

• State Government experience is required.

• Strong experience with:

  • Power BI Desktop

  • Power Apps

  • Power Automate

  • SharePoint Online

  • Power Query Editor

  • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

  • Data Modeling & Relationships

  • Custom Visualizations

  • Data Source Connectivity

  • Performance Optimization

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and occasionally visit the Washington, DC office as needed.

Preferred Certifications (Current)

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Build and enhance Power Apps solutions to support business processes.

• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate.

• Create and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.

• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and external sources.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Must Have:

• 5+ years of Power Platform Development experience

• Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate

• DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling

• SharePoint Online

• State Government Experience

• Strong communication skills
