The Quality Engineer will work with SCRUM teams to perform QA and QE activities, ensuring quality delivery for products within the Claims domain and adapting to new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Work with 1 or more SCRUM teams to perform QA and QE activities on the assigned user stories
- Own quality delivery for products within the Claims domain
- Ensure proper quality controls and perform end-to-end testing
- Write and execute automated tests using an ATDD approach
- Convert manual test coverage into automated ATDD tests
- Create test cases and test scenarios for end-to-end validation
- Participate in release deployments, including troubleshooting, triage, and defect analysis
- Communicate clearly within the team and across partner teams
- Work effectively in an Agile environment as part of an Agile team
- Prompt engineering: ability to craft, evaluate, and iterate prompts; use LLM tools to accelerate QE workflows (test design, edge-case discovery, automation scaffolding) while ensuring privacy/security for healthcare data
- Quickly adapts to new tools, technologies, and automation frameworks to continuously improve testing efficiency and quality
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer
- 3+ years of experience in Integration Testing
- 3+ years of experience in End-to-End Testing
- 3+ years of Hands-on experience with SOAP UI, Postman, and Insomnia
- 2+ years of experience using Cucumber with Acceptance Test Driven Development
- 2+ years of Hands-on experience with IntelliJ/IDE
- 2+ years of experience with MySQL/Postgres
- 1+ years of Hands-on experience with Java
- 1+ years of experience with Jmeter
- RabbitMQ/ Hermes, IBMPCOM
- JCL/COBOL, IBM Fileaid, DB2/Dbeaver
