Garlock Family of Companies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven OEM Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives across their sealing solutions. This role will focus on expanding partnerships with OEMs in traditional and emerging sectors, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new OEM partnerships in high-growth sectors including hydrogen, data centers, semiconductors, and battery manufacturing
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to position Garlock products as preferred solutions
- Drive revenue growth for metal gaskets, compression packing, 3522 diaphragm material, and Klozure® products
- Manage key OEM accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet OEM specifications and performance requirements
- Support product launches and promotional campaigns targeting OEMs in strategic verticals
- Provide technical guidance and application support to OEM customers
- Deliver compelling value propositions that highlight Garlock’s differentiation in sealing technology and reliability
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies
- Provide regular updates and forecasts to leadership on pipeline development and market penetration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in OEM sales or business development, preferably in industrial or engineered products
- Strong understanding of sealing technologies and rotating equipment applications
- Proven success in developing new markets and managing complex sales cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Familiarity with hydrogen infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing, battery systems, or data center cooling technologies
- Experience working with mining equipment OEMs or rotating equipment manufacturers
- Technical background in mechanical or industrial engineering is a plus
