Senior DevOps Engineer

Slash is a hi-tech startup studio focused on building AI-powered products and scalable digital platforms. They are seeking a senior DevOps engineer to lead CI/CD and automation transformation initiatives, improving development workflow efficiency and build reliability across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of standardized, reusable CI/CD pipelines, enforcing quality gates, branching governance, and robust release discipline across engineering teams
• Establish strong CI foundations to improve build validation and early defect detection, while implementing structured deployment automation to enhance release reliability and traceability
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and containerization practices to ensure environment consistency and parity across the development lifecycle
• Assess maturity levels, drive the adoption of automation standards, and provide technical leadership by integrating code quality tools and automated testing frameworks into daily workflows

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on DevOps experience
• Proven track record of leading CI/CD transformation initiatives
• Experience implementing pipelines from low or fragmented maturity environments
• Strong experience with modern CI/CD platforms (Git-based CI, Jenkins, or equivalent)
• Experience enforcing Git workflow governance and merge discipline
• Hands-on containerization experience and exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Strong scripting skills and ability to operate independently and influence engineering teams
• Experience integrating static code analysis and security scanning
• Experience improving deployment strategies (blue-green, canary)
• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments
