CVS Health is committed to building a connected and compassionate health experience. They are seeking a dynamic Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale programs that advance their data strategy, focusing on platform delivery and cross-organizational alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate large-scale programs that advance our data strategy for the data warehouse, with a focus on platform delivery, self-service capabilities, and cross-organizational alignment
- Orchestrate end-to-end execution across multiple workstreams—managing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies—while ensuring that engineering, analytics, and business priorities stay synchronized
- Work closely with data engineering, software engineering, business intelligence, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into executable plans, surface and resolve cross-team dependencies, and drive programs to predictable outcomes that support analytical and operational needs across the organization
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in technical program management (or equivalent: program/project management in highly technical, platform, or data environments)
- Proven experience coordinating large-scale programs that span many teams, involve significant technical complexity, and require active management of dependencies, sequencing, and tradeoffs
- Demonstrated success driving multi-quarter initiatives from discovery through delivery: roadmaps, milestones, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and executive-level reporting
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, validation, and light analysis in support of program decisions and issue triage
- Exceptional stakeholder management: influencing without direct authority, resolving conflicts across teams, and aligning priorities at multiple levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; comfort running cross-functional forums (steercos, working groups, dependency reviews)
- High curiosity and a drive to surface gaps, improve how we work, and challenge the status quo with practical, scalable approaches
- Ability to build a case with data (metrics, baselines, impact) and, when data is missing, to define what to measure and drive the work to obtain it
- Prior healthcare technology experience
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability and standard exchange formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR, C-CDA)
- Snowflake experience in a program or delivery context
- AI/ML program exposure and experience leveraging AI-assisted tooling for productivity and automation (e.g., Cursor)
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
