Really Global is building the world's first truly global, provider-centric mental health marketplace. They are seeking a Founding Azure DevOps Engineer to own and enhance the infrastructure of their platform, ensuring it scales securely and effectively while handling sensitive data across 200+ countries.

Responsibilities:

• Own the infrastructure roadmap, not just complete assigned tasks
• Audit the current environment, create the architecture diagram, identify risks, prioritize the work, and help move the platform toward a secure, scalable, well-documented Azure foundation
• Harden networking: VNet redesign, NSGs, private endpoints, eliminate unnecessary public exposure
• Environment isolation: separate production, staging, and preprod properly — not just by naming convention
• CI/CD pipeline ownership: build and own GitHub Actions (or equivalent) pipelines with proper gates, tests, and deployment controls
• Secrets management: consolidate into Key Vault with proper rotation, eliminate secrets in app settings and environment variables
• Database reliability: HA enablement, backup/restore validation, documented RTO/RPO
• Infrastructure-as-Code: move from partial ARM templates and manual changes to a proper IaC baseline (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent)
• Monitoring and alerting: build observability that catches problems before users do
• Security posture: enforce Cloudflare-only ingress at the Azure level, lock down legacy VMs, audit access controls
• Support the team on Azure architecture decisions as the platform scales into EHR, real-time translation, and telehealth compliance

Requirements:

• Experience with Azure environment management
• Proven ability to own and drive infrastructure projects
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions or equivalent
• Experience with secrets management, particularly using Azure Key Vault
• Experience with database reliability practices, including HA enablement and backup/restore validation
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems
• Experience with security posture management in cloud environments
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with sensitive data, particularly in healthcare or fintech
• Proactive and self-directed work style in an async environment
• Ability to identify risks and propose solutions in an infrastructure context
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to infrastructure challenges
