Onsite Professional Office Environment Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Site Support Technician to provide hands-on, in-person IT support in a professional office setting in Cincinnati. This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional who enjoys working face-to-face with end users, troubleshooting hardware issues, and delivering high-quality customer service.

You will serve as an onsite point of contact for IT support, helping ensure employees receive timely, professional, and effective technical assistance.

What You ll Do

Provide onsite desktop and end-user support for office employees
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues including laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
Assist with workstation setups, device replacements, and basic software/application issues
Support printers and conference room / A/V technology as needed
Respond to walk-up and ticketed support requests with a strong customer-service mindset
Escalate more complex issues to centralized IT teams when appropriate
Maintain a professional, approachable presence in the office

Required Qualifications

Associate s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor s degree preferred)
1 3 years of experience in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT support roles (internships and early-career experience acceptable)
Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
Comfortable providing in-person, customer-facing support in a professional office environment
Clear communication skills and a professional demeanor

Preferred Certifications

One or more of the following certifications are highly desirable:

CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network+
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
ITIL Foundation (or equivalent)

Nice to Have

Experience supporting Windows-based environments
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
Prior experience supporting users in a corporate or professional services setting
