Managing the end-to-end procurement life cycle
Maximising value for GCAA's 13x operational Coal mines across New South Wales and Queensland
Focusing on the categories of Labour (Trades) and Services
Analyse spend data and market intelligence to develop appropriate sourcing strategies
Perform tendering exercises of initiatives, including negotiation, contract drafting and contract implementation
Implement appropriate supplier relationship management processes to drive value from contracts
Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with relevant functional departments, site stakeholders and key personnel
Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable Policies, Guidelines, Laws, Regulations and Statutory Obligations

Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract negotiations
Mining and resources sector preferred
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, legal or related engineering field
CIPS recognition highly desirable
High Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
Experience with Contract Management systems and SAP (or similar ERP systems)
