Senior Service Designer

Introduction

We are seeking a talented Service Designer/UX professional to join our team and work with a utility client. As a Service Designer, you will be responsible for creating seamless and user-friendly experiences for our clients'' customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of service solutions that meet the needs of the utility client''s customers
Conduct user research to understand customer behaviors, preferences, and pain points
Create user personas, customer journey maps, and service blueprints
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals
Design and prototype digital and physical service touchpoints
Test and iterate on service designs based on user feedback and usability testing
Ensure consistency and coherence across all service touchpoints
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in service design and UX
Communicate design concepts and recommendations to internal teams and clients
Work closely with developers and other team members to implement service solutions

Requirements

Required Skills

Proven experience as a Service Designer, UX Designer, or similar role
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Experience working in agile development environments

Preferred Skills

Experience working with utility clients or in the energy sector
Knowledge of service design frameworks such as Service Design Thinking or Design Thinking
Experience conducting usability testing and user research
Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like InVision or Axure
Understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
