Manage the full AP cycle, including data entry and payment processing in NetSuite
Collaborate with the operations team to invoice customers
Process payroll and journal entries
Manage employee expense reimbursements and company credit card transactions
Prepare and upload electronic AP batch payments for approval
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Compile documentation and support year-end financial reviews and audits
Respond to accounting inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed
Support financial system data entry consistency in NetSuite
Contribute to grant reimbursement tracking and compliance processes

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting department (co-op, internship, or part-time experience qualifies)
Proficiency or demonstrated learning in NetSuite ERP
Experience with QuickBooks Payroll and BambooHR, or comparable payroll and HRIS platforms
Knowledge of Canadian payroll and tax regulations
Experience with bank reconciliations and supporting financial close processes
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
