The Sr. HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to business units, primarily supporting Operations, and provides guidance on HR policies, employee relations, workforce planning, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Partners with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, laws, and best practices
Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with HR policies and governmental laws and regulations
Ensures compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and regulations
Handles employee relations counseling, disciplinary actions, separations, and exit interviews
Maintains employee-related databases; prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company; and prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested
Assists with the development of Human Resources policies; provides advice, assistance, and follow-up on policies, procedures, and documentation
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions
Leads and participates in HR-related projects as needed

Requirements:

Under the guidance of the HR Director, the Sr. HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to assigned business units, with a primary focus on supporting Operations
This role carries out responsibilities across the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, organizational development, and employment
The Sr. HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to operations leaders and front-line managers, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters, workforce planning, and compliance
The ideal candidate will demonstrate agility, adaptability, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
This role is highly collaborative and requires strong judgment, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
This position is based in Deer Park, TX or can be remote; candidates must reside within reasonable proximity of a major commercial airport to support travel requirements
