Risqor Labs is the technology division of OccuMedX, focused on building modern software that transforms workforce health and operational intelligence. They are seeking a Founding Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop their flagship platform, Risqor Nexus, from the ground up, working directly with executive leadership to shape the architecture and engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain the Risqor Nexus platform
Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using React and TypeScript
Design scalable backend services and APIs
Build secure and maintainable database architecture
Develop reusable application components and shared libraries
Deliver production-quality software with an emphasis on maintainability and performance
Partner directly with executive leadership on product direction
Help define the technical architecture and engineering roadmap
Recommend tools, frameworks, and development best practices
Establish engineering standards, documentation, and workflows
Help shape the future engineering team as the platform grows
Implement secure authentication and authorization
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database structures
Build integrations with internal systems and external APIs
Develop reporting and analytics capabilities
Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability
Translate operational workflows into elegant software solutions
Collaborate closely with clinical, operations, and executive teams
Participate in architecture reviews and product planning
Contribute to long-term product strategy and innovation

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
Experience building production applications with React
Experience designing and working with PostgreSQL databases
Experience with Git, GitHub, and collaborative software development
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with executive leadership
