Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Provide Level-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Maintenance and support of Windows server systems, backups storage and Local Area Network technologies
Maintenance and support of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory
Maintenance and support of client hardware, including roll-out of new clients, upgrades and hardware repairs including network printers
Ensure all IT security policies of the company are always implemented and adhered to
Review and updating of all IT process documentation
Maintenance of database software
Perform system backups
Gathering requirements and translating business needs into business solutions including technical recommendations
Being a key contact on site for all IT related queries

Proven hands-on network engineering experience (at least 4 years)
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Experience with: Windows 11, Server 2008 / 2012, Exchange 2010 / 2013, VMware, Active Directory, Networking, CISCO, Palo Alto, Webex, Aruba, Sonic WALL
Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science
CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
