Coordinate and oversee the placement of toxicology studies with external laboratories
Develop, review, and refine study protocols for novel ingredients to ensure scientific soundness and data quality
Review completed study outputs for consistency with protocol objectives and intended safety use
Serve as the primary technical toxicology contact for external consultants supporting global ingredient registrations
Provide toxicological input and clarification as required to support registration activities
Conduct toxicology evaluations of individual ingredients and complex fragrance formulations in response to internal or client requests
Communicate toxicological findings and safety considerations in a clear and practical manner
Support the establishment of safety profiles for proprietary fragrance molecules (“Captives”)

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Personal Care, Cosmetics, or Fragrance & Flavor
Solid understanding of toxicology principles and experience supporting the design and oversight of laboratory study protocols
Working knowledge of global chemical regulations and safety expectations relevant to fragrance materials
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and explain toxicology and safety concepts to non-scientific audiences
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and commercial timelines
Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, or a related life science
