Role Overview

Provide outstanding customer service to all patients
Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations
Educate patients on insurance coverage limits and options
Work closely with the billing and other departments providing services
Schedule appointments, answer phones, data entry
Collect deposits and co-pays
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Six months of customer service experience
Associates degree (preferred)
One year of customer service experience in a medical setting (preferred)
Exposure to medical billing and/or pre-certification tasks (preferred)
