develop robust ETL pipelines using Talend, integrate data sources, and optimize data flows for scalable architectures
advise clients on the latest data integration capabilities, primarily using the Qlik portfolio (Qlik Talend Cloud, Talend Studio, Change Data Capture)
design and implement ETL/ELT processes with Talend Studio and Qlik Talend Cloud
connect heterogeneous data sources (SQL, APIs, flat files, cloud services)
build and maintain data pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing
perform data modeling and transformations for DWH and data lake architectures
tune performance of data flows and optimize load processes
implement monitoring, logging, and error handling in production pipelines

proven experience in data integration with expert-level proficiency in Talend
think in data flows, know ETL best practices, and work in a structured, solution-oriented manner
many years of hands-on experience with Talend products (Open Studio, Data Integration, Talend Cloud)
deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and data flow design
ideally experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes
analytical mindset and enjoyment of working independently with clients
very good German and English skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
