Role Overview

Launch and lead high-quality daily coverage across Spanish-speaking Latin American gambling markets
Build and manage a source network across key jurisdictions
File fast, accurate stories in Spanish while supporting short English-language briefs
Shape editorial priorities, produce explainers and investigations, and support growth of NEXT.io’s Spanish-language readership

Requirements

Native-level Spanish writing and editing skills
Professional working English for briefs and internal communication
3–5+ years’ reporting experience covering business, regulation, finance, or technology (iGaming experience essential)
Proven ability to develop sources and land exclusives
Strong understanding of LatAm political and regulatory environments
Excellent headline writing and copy discipline
High standards around accuracy, compliance, and editorial integrity
