Role Overview

Design and implement Linux-based platform solutions.
Configure and manage automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform to streamline operations.
Monitor platform performance and availability, addressing issues as they arise.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure systems remain secure and operational.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Ansible and Terraform.
Implement security measures to protect platform infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct security assessments and participate in audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Optimize platform configurations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Maintain detailed documentation of platform configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
Generate reports on platform performance, security, and usage for management and stakeholders.
Respond to platform-related incidents and outages, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and follow incident response plans to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of platform systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff on platform-related issues.
Ensure platform operations adhere to organizational policies and industry best practices.
Continuously evaluate and improve platform infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.
Manage relationships with platform service providers and vendors.

Requirements

Must have 10 years of experience
Security+ or equivalent.
