ARServices is seeking an Audit Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research & Development Directorate (RD). In this position, the candidate will function in a matrixed Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) budget audit team supporting the CX Department.

The candidate will work with A&AS and government project managers (PMs) and budget specialists in across RD by providing expert audit readiness advice allowing government PMs to focus more on managing and leading RDT&E efforts. This candidate will perform as an audit support specialist for one office and participate in a multi-office audit support A&AS team effort. The candidate must be familiar with federal audit processes, financial management information systems, and research into Unliquidated Obligations.

Principal Duties
· Track, analyze and resolve Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and Receipt, Acceptance and Inspection (RAI) issues for one office portfolio. Ensure documentation complies with DoD/DTRA standards.
· Utilize Financial information systems to research and resolve ULOs and provide insights into current and prior year actual and planned obligations and expenditures data
· Fully and effectively collaborate with an existing cross functional team
· Assist audit activities as directed with priority placed on teamwork

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, or business-related discipline
· Current DoD TS clearance
· At least five (5) years of financial analysis/management experience
· At least three (3) years of experience in resolving ULOs and assisting in Receipt. Acceptance and Inspection processes.
· Experience with DoD financial audits
· Strong written and oral communication skills and experience developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials using Microsoft Office Suite applications
· Familiar with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Accounting system
· Skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Collaborative tools (MS TEAMS, Skype, WebEx, Adobe Connect)

Desired Qualifications
· Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II certification in financial management or equivalent
· Familiar with developing and reviewing support agreements
· Experience with the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and Defense Agency’s Initiative (DAI) tools
· Prior experience working at DTRA or within other DoD organizations
