Blue Lagoon is looking for a security guard to provide general security services in the Blue Lagoon’s central control center. Strong emphasis is placed on good teamwork, independent work practices, and excellent customer service.

The main responsibilities of a security guard include ensuring the safety of guests and staff, camera surveillance, incident response, and providing general assistance to guests and employees of the Blue Lagoon.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
Interest in and motivation for safety, security, and preventive measures.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and are solution-oriented mindset.
Initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to handle minor maintenance tasks.
Reliability and punctuality.
Good Icelandic and English skills.

We are looking for employees for both summer jobs and perminent hires.

The position is based on a shift schedule.

Applicants must be at least 24 years old.

A clean criminal record is required.
