BITS, Inc. is a growing software development company in the Washington DC area, and they are seeking an AI/ML Engineer for one of their federal projects. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI-driven applications, while collaborating with various teams to implement effective AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models
Build and maintain data pipelines and ML workflows for model training and inference
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to implement AI solutions
Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization
Deploy and monitor models in production environments
Implement MLOps practices for model lifecycle management
Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency
Document solutions and follow best practices in AI/ML development

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
Minimum 6 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science roles
Strong programming skills in Python
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
Experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop
Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, or transformer models
Experience working in Agile development environments
