Join Our Team as an HR Generalist:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to deliver comprehensive HR support across payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, enhancing employee experience, and supporting operational excellence in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
Audit timecards for PTO, missed punches, and corrections.
Manage payroll adjustments including garnishments, retro pay, and bonuses.
Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions.
Support open enrollment and employee education initiatives.
Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA regulations.
Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers.
Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics.
Coordinate onboarding schedules and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with third-party administrators.
Track injury reports and maintain OSHA 300/301 logs.
Support return-to-work plans and modified duty assignments.
Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related safety documentation.
Partner with Operations on toolbox talks and safety compliance audits.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
2–4 years of HR experience with a focus on payroll and benefits.
Proficiency in Paylocity required (minimm of two years).
Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and other labor regulations.
Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
