Safal Partners is seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead a large, high-visibility Texas education project. The Project Manager will ensure successful project delivery, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development and organizational leadership.

Responsibilities:

Lead full projects or portfolios, ensuring successful execution across all workstreams
Develop strategic project approaches, methodologies, and frameworks
Oversee all major deliverables and ensure alignment with client goals and organizational standards
Manage the day-to-day operations of the project, including event planning, overseeing project activities, coordinating team members, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, critical milestones and key deliverables
Serve as the primary client relationship manager
Lead high-level presentations, briefings, and strategic discussions
Identify opportunities for expanded support and long-term partnerships
Supervise and mentor Managers, Associates, and Analysts
Provide performance feedback and support professional development
Contribute to internal initiatives, process improvements, and organizational strategy
Lead proposal development, including technical strategy, pricing input, and partnership coordination
Develop thought leadership, represent the organization externally, and support brand visibility
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Oversee project budgets, staffing, and resource planning
Manage project risks and ensure compliance with organizational policies
Support leadership in forecasting, planning, and operational decision-making

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, education, or a related field
10+ years of relevant project management experience; experience in education or government projects preferred
PMP certification is required
Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet required
Demonstrated experience managing project budgets
Knowledge of education policies, regulations, and state or federal program requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder groups
Experience leading federal or Texas state‑funded education initiatives
Experience managing large teams, multi‑partner projects, or complex cross‑functional workstreams
